Sign up for an Anatomy Avant Garde session, a multisensory sound healing experience developed by Peyton Pleninger, in which musicians and a painter improvise to a participants amplified heartbeat – happening: July 20th, 2025
From 4pm to 10pm on Sunday July 20, 2025, Pleninger and a rotating ensemble will hold a marathon performance of Anatomy Avant Garde Sessions back to back as a fundraiser for the Weirdos in the Woods Arts Festival.
Participants will donate $50-100 to Weirdos in the Woods, a grassroots Arts Festival focused on creating sustainable economics for working artists. As part of this mission, Weirdos in the Woods is raising over $10,000 to pay over 30 local artists over Labor Day Weekend, August 29-31, 2025.
For each Anatomy Avant Garde Session, an amplified stethoscope is applied to the participant (you) and an ensemble of musicians improvises with the sound of your heartbeat while a painter paints a piece of plexiglass.
Your donation includes a recording of the Session, the heartbeat, and the painting produced during your Session.
