Our mission as Weirdos in the Woods is to amplify the cultural landscape through economic support for artists. We strive to connect the artists (visual, musical, performance) who live in Ulster County with each other, and integrate their work into the daily life of Ulster County residents. We aim to pay artists a fair wage for their work, and economically support artists‘ continued practice and creation. We want to encourage Ulster County residents’ engagement with art, and to blur the boundaries between art and life.
